I’m in Tampa and def up for a meet. Green emira that cruises up channelside/downtown a lotNot sure how many people are in the Tampa Bay area and would love to meet up with anyone on the west coast of FL.. I met a couple of people when I went out to Orlando a couple weeks ago but they are kinda far from me (traffic is terrible) and would love to meet some other members.

Small victory; got report from senator Gruters that constituent and legislative feedback has resulted in removal of front plate requirement from bill...............Just an FYI....
Florida legislature is currently working Senate Bill SB 92 through its process. The importance is its inclusion of a front license plate in addition to the rear for all cars. If passes,as currently written, this law would require front plates beginning January 1, 2026.
I will be sending to my representative in the House and senator in the Senate a request this be defeated/removed.
Primary sponsor is Senator Joe Gruter who will also receive request. I noted just this am that he has feedback from constituents and legislators requesting removal and says he will; but, haven't seen new modified bill yet.
Good to read, but still sending.......perhaps others have additional/more current info.........
Awesome! This had me getting ready to make calls, send emails and even buy stamps for the first time in over a decade..Small victory; got report from both senator Gruters that constituent and legislative feedback has resulted in removal of front plate requirement from bill...............
Yes agree with both statements; inspection I would support once/yr. Too much junk falling of cars, too little brake remaining so rear enders, etc. But............revenue generated/cost should allow reasonable (I know, subject to opinion) compensation to service provider with any remainder returned to vehicle owners i.e., decrease registration fees......? I know, good luck with that.........It would have accomplished nothing so glad that's DOA.
Now inspections on cars I can get behind... tired of cars with bumpers being held on by string or just completely missing. It's just dangerous.
Yeah, I'm not sure on how the best way to iron out the details. I just want people to be held to some kind of standard. Just this morning I almost had a guy slide into me at an intersection because his tires were too bald to handle the turn due to the light rain we're having in Tampa.Yes agree with both statements; inspection I would support once/yr.
