I'm in the process of buying a i4 FE, and I wonder if there is any changes in parts/production from 09/2023 compared to cars that will be produced now?
The dealer have on in stock they really want me to buy and they will give me approx 10% discount on compared to a new factory built one.
The one they got in stock is produced 09/2023, magma red, full black pack and, Alcantara seats, sport chassis etc and have not been registered, so it's a new "old stock".
If I order one from factory I will order bethel yellow and touring chassis, and this will be a fresh build.
I see on the forum that it has been some issues with paint, is this still ongoing or is this fixed and when should the car be produced to avoid this problem?
if you was in the position to choose here, would you buy the car produced in 09/2023 and in your second choice of color to save approx 10% and get the car same day or would you order a fresh build in your first choice of color and wait approx 6 months to get it?
(This will most likely be the first Emira owned and registered to a privat person in Norway, as far as I and the official Lotus dealer/importer know of. In 2024 90% of all passenger cars sold in Norway is electric)
