Slowly it is getting real, if registration works flawlessly then next week I will pick it up with a friend of mine.

So maybe there'll be some footage to come picking it up. Probably with a big smile on my face.

It's been a long journey until now.

Hope that all goes well, one part in the process that was slower than I thought was the vehicle not being registered until the day before pick-up - this meant I could not finalise my insurance until quite late on.

I found the excitement level creeping up on me quite quickly, as it "got real" to use your very apt phrase!

That photo looks much too saturated to me. I think real-life Hethel Yellow will look more like the photos below (but in fairness, I have yet to see it in person either ).

It depends on the lighting conditions, right before sunset it gets more of an orange tone to it like in this picture.

In the sunlight it looks more like @eriegz posted before.

This one is most accurate. It really is a kind of mustard yellow
