Emira on order
I have a prestine FE V6 manual and I'm thinking about getting rid of it. Not sure yet, as I'm still kind of in love with it. But a GT3 is calling me, so I'm considering things. I've been trying to assess cars and bids and some other sales online, but it's hard to tell. Prices seem to be decent but around the 90k mark in general. Does anyone have additional insight into the current market for the low milage v6 manual Emiras?

There’s one on BaT now, ends today.

Here are a few previous sales.

Colors-wise, this has go to be the most undesirable spec I've ever seen on an Emira. That is definitely hurting its value.

The real bids often happen in the final ten minutes, we'll see what the market says.

I only do black interiors, but obviously some folks do like red.

Nimbus over red is great. I personally think it would be better without the black roof and with the diamond wheels but I wouldnt call it the most undesirable. There are way worse color combos available.

It's the silver wheels with Nimbus that kill it

I agree I thought it was an absolute perfect spec except for the wheels. I always thought the Emira looked great in nimbus gray. Would have definitely bid if I didn't just buy a Dark Verdant green for $10k more just 2 months ago.
No such thing as timing the market.

Color is incredibly subjective. You may hate it, but other people will love it.
Nimbus has one of the most "chameleon" colors on the Emira. From champagne to deep silver. The lighter colors also show the lines of the car well.
I like a car that appearance can change with the sun. I guess that is why I ended up with dark verdant green. black to green to jade.

Damn, 85k for that car is cheap. Kinda tough to see the Emira values going down so quickly
Come on ladies and gent. All lux cars are taking a hit at the moment.

The Emira is dropping in value because of the economic realities, and not because it`s a shitebox. All of us here know how good our cars are. The price drop only reflects that state of disposable income the public can endure. That changed when money supply improves.

Its is a bit tough watching the value of your beloved asset drops, but does not reflect on the emiras brilliance. And that`s what we should be talking about.

Its general uncertainty in the world economy, driven by uncertainty in how the US is going to use Sanctions, amongst other things.
Once thats settled down, things will revert to type
