How many Emira owners in SoCal?

For you SoCal guys, recommending A1 Automotive in San Gabriel Valley for Lotus work, ask for Harry.

I just got the 3rd cat delete, K&N filter and break in oil change done. He is widely recommended on LotusTalk, owns an Elise and Exige and has worked on a lot of lotuses including the evora. It was fun to talk cars and tracking with him. Surprisingly, my emira was the first he has serviced.

He was knowledgeable, cared for the car and solid prices. It was worth the 1 hour drive for me. Glad I found him!

Funny thing is he’s running an ordinary mechanic/smog shop. They are not specialists but he happens to be very experienced with the Lotus platforms. I think that’s why his cost is better than dealers or specialist enthusiast oriented shops.

Great recommendation, will be contacting him for sure!

Good to know and have options. I went to Project Dream last week for my lowering sleeve install. They work on lotuses as you will see on their IG. It was recommended to me by a buddy that has an evora that threw a clutch and required the entire engine to be pulled out. They did all the work for him.

Greetings all, i'm down in SD but would happily drive up for events. Took delivery a couple months ago, just got out of break-in!

Congrats! Did you purchase from Lotus San Diego?

Thanks!

I actually got it from Galpin, ordered in Jan of 2021! There were actually times I sort of forgot I ordered it 😂

A reminder, 2 awesome Lotus clubs in SoCal -
For the greater LA area, Lotus Club of So California (LCOSC) - https://lcosc.org/
For the San Diego area, San Diego Lotus Club - https://sandiegolotusclub.org/

Both clubs are a part of the GGLC (Golden Gate Lotus Club) family. You are encouraged to take advantage of the GGLC's offer to new Emira owners, a complimentary year club membership (automatically make you a member of LCOSC and/or San Diego).

Cheers,
Kiyoshi

P.S. West Coast Lotus Meet starts in about 55 days. 4 days of Lotus fun!!! www.westcoastlotusmeet.com

*raises hand*

I am in Los Angeles and down for whatever. Also signed up for the LCOSC based on that offer (and will donate anyhow if accepted because that's cool)

@grezex Did you secure an allocation from the Lotus of San Diego Team? I did and am still in hold mode - ETA -> Oct per my latest convo. I'm looking forward to being part of the SoCal Lotus Club!!!

Ditto (locked in June). Pinged for update last week and still said expected to arrive in Oct, but couldn't confirm if it entered production or not. I've not received any email directly from Lotus, so no in production e-mail nor VIN notification I've seen from other posts here. I only have the order confirmation email forwarded by the dealer at the time of lock-in.

I personally don't think we'll see our cars until December/January at the earliest :censored:

Same for me on all accounts. Jan is when I'm estimating. At least there's a few of us in the same boat!

There is a Secret Car Club (Lotus focused theme) cars and coffee tomorrow 9/14, 9-11:30. 18021 Calle Ambiente, Rancho Santa Fe, CA. 92067

I’ll be going from OC. Anyone heading there? I got the invite from SD lotus club and they are requesting RSVPs to save spots.

I’ll be heading down in Winston. Looking forward to meeting fellow Lotus enthusiasts…
