I4 Delivery Date USA/Canada Updates

So went today to Lotus of DC and picked up my meridian blue i4! Drove it back home the 20miles and it was great. Radio definitely leaves a lot to be desired but also don’t really care. And for anyone wondering….the turbo spool noises are fantastic. Keys for the car are also unnecessarily large. Didn’t know it would come with a trickle charge but that was a nice touch. And yes for anyone wondering, window sticker does show 400hp.

Congrats. Beautiful spec. It was dark in the warehouse when I saw yours. Will pick up mine next week

The 3.4 sec 0-60 is what the Chinese were posting…. But never would see that number posted anywhere else. Impressive to say the least. The torque is what you feel…..

Perfect, thanks ToonFan ! 3.4 sec to 60 really puts this car in a different category. Had a feeling it could beat the A45 AMG (500 lbs heavier) to 60 once C&D tested - using LC and taking out roll_out. DCTs are fast and LC balances out the turbo lag.

I would have been happy with performance as originally stated. This just removes the "its only a DCT" sting we get from reviewers who claim it is the manual or nothing. I just love this car.

Agree the manual trans ding doesn't hold water in 2025; how many Ferrari's or McLaren's models have offered a manual option in the past 10 years ?

How did it feel? Power? Torque? Steering?

Didn’t really get on it because of break-in but what power I felt was solid. Didn’t seem like much of any lag at all. Steering feels very analog, much different from all my other cars. Really like the feel of it.

Great point. All variants are truly special cars and each of us chose what we did for any number of valid reasons. They are all special no matter the transmission.
