IHU software

Anyone know what the IHU software upgrades. Dropped off the car for a break in oil change and was told the only software needed was an IHU. The SA didn’t know what it upgrades in the head unit.

I have the same on my list (of 5 updates due). I called a few people I thought would know and got "thats a new one" in response

but..

CCM - Central Control Module
CEM - Central Electronics Module
CPC - Central Powertrain Controller ( @Neil D. @gdotp confirmed)
IHU - Integrated Head Unit (per @MajHall04)
DIM - Brakes (per Lotus Tech - don't know the acronym definition)
VCM - Vehicle Control Module
VDDM - Vehicle Domain Dynamic Module

If it is the same one offers in China for the Emira Turbo, dun do it! It will lock you out from using track mode while driving.

Picked car up today after getting 1000 mile oil change. Had IHU update. Didn’t notice any difference. The SA said it was for the head unit and it updates software run in the background. That’s all he knew. I can still change to track mode while driving. On another note my friend took me there in his C8 and the lotus could easily hang.

Yeah for the head unit, looks like China gets the shitty update
