「頭脳パンとは通常の小麦粉にビタミンB1を100グラムあたり0.17ミリグラム以上配合した「頭脳粉」という小麦粉を使って作ったパンだそうです。「頭脳粉」は現在石川県でしか製造されていないそうです。」

頭脳パン！20年くらい前には都内でもコンビニとかで買えていたのが懐かしいです（すみません気になったのでいまさらですが…笑）

Day 2:

Kaiou-maru Park (海王丸パーク) parking lot. Probably the biggest Emira get-together in Hokuriku to date!

Beautiful autumn in the mountains (白山白川郷ホワイトロード), but naturally, everyone is more interested in the cars than the view.

Passerbys gawking and taking pictures of the largest collection of Emiras in the Hokuriku area.

The safest spot in the hotel parking lot is mine!

Day 3:

View from the room looking down on the river.

Traveler's Oasis Four Season Terrace - looks like a rather new facility. Very very light meals only (and a food truck parked outside selling hot sandwiches).

Got home on fumes.

OMG no pictures of cars today!


Many, many thanks to all who participated! It was great to see all of you and your friends in person. The people, roads, and weather were perfect! We need to do this again!

Thank you for posting these. I'm a huge fan of most things Japanese. driving through the mountainside in a sports car and visiting an onsen would be a dream come true. grew up watching touge and these pics are familiar.

one goal for me is to make it back to Tokyo and rent a JDM car to attend a car show and drive some mountain passes. maybe stop by the Yamazaki distillery, an onsen or some haunted temple along the way.
