Lotus at NYC Intl Auto Show

I’m also planning to go. Can you tell me where you see lotus listed, as based on my searching, I don’t see them listed as attending.

I stand corrected, they are under “exotics” lol
See you there!

I'll be in NYC for business next week; anything there that's worth taking the time to go see?

The Auto Show runs through the 16th. I always find the Natural History Museum to be great if you have some time. Cherry Blossoms in Central Park. They did a great job with the 911 Memorial. The USS Intrepid is right next to the auto show (Javits Center) and even has a Space Shuttle parked on it. Always fun to visit the exotic car showrooms as well.

And of course a million pubs.

I hope they come to San Diego. Hopefully, I'll have already test-driven one, though, since our auto show is typically between Christmas and New Years.

Just for the sake of being able to say you were there: "Museum of Sex" (near the corner of 5th ave and E.27th st).

Lotus is a listed exhibitor. I’m going on Saturday and will take as many pictures of anything cool I see (not just Loti).
Surprised they took a spot. I no longer go because most of it is trucks and SUVs. Saw my first NYAS at the old NY Coliseum on Columbus Circle when I was 10 years old. Barely missed a year over the decades until the market changed.

Thanks for sharing these photos. My 2 big takeaways:
1. The Emira totally holds its own in design amongst the supercars.
2. The Countach is still a mind blowing design nearly 50(!) years later and looks like it could have been designed yesterday.

I can't believe how good a Lotus looks next to a $4M hypercar!

Exactly my two takeaways as well!

It was interesting to hear peoples comments about the Emira. My favorite was “you spend half a million on that car and they will still charge $1000 for an oil change”.

I also went today. I told them I had a deposit on an Emira and they allowed me to sit in it. It was otherwise fenced off.

Was a good time. I also liked how it was branded to be with legit super cars. I would have liked to have seen the Electre, but it’s not there.
