Lotus Emira vs MKV Toyota Supra (2020+)

At the risk of offending Supra lovers, to me, the Supra is like a BRZ on steroids (not to mention the guts are BMW), while the EMIRA is a toned down 488.

Sort of like Kirstin Dunst vs Megan Fox. I'd never debate which to pick out of the two.

The Supra engineering wise is a very good car. No manual which is a deal killer and it is not close to looking as good as an Emira. To me they are not on the same level there. As for the new Nissan, I think the design is not good at all. To me, the true competitor that is worth of the emira and on the same level overall is the Cayman.

No offense taken. I've owned both and both are great fun in their own way. Supra is a lot more solid (with its BMW DNA) with much better interior and exterior quality than BRZ. BRZ is raw and more of a driver's car. Where Supra is more upscale, refined, fast and more of a daily.

Manual Supra was recently announced. Probably to keep the drama going between Supra and Z.
