Lotus introduces ‘Lotus Chapman Bespoke’

When I first bought by 111R in 2004, Lotus would happily paint the car in any colour that appeared in the ICI palette. Thats 1000s of different/similar colours. The only restriction was....... how much were you willing to pay?
I would guess the same applies today. Throw enough money at it and Lotus will paint it what ever you want

Haha. That would be so ungodly expensive. You might as well buy any number of 400k to 1+ mil cars. But, you could get a carbon hood thingy (no weight savings really though) and maybe they'd try to offer a carbo roof.

Honestly, the best thing they could do is a paint to sample and graphics options.

But, unlike Porsche and BMW I'm not sure they have a library of colors, so I'm not sure how that would work. Still... The option to get something like a Techno-violet or Midnight purple or a metallic orange would add to their color palette.
Very$$$. If you look at the image with the white fade the body color is tinted carbon fiber.

It will be paint options, interior stitching, carbon accents, etc.

Got some new intel today about the Chapman Bespoke program and the Emira. Sounds like books will open sometime in 2025 for custom spec Emira orders. Both V6 and i4 will be available to spec, but no confirmation on hotter S/R/GT versions just yet. Really looking forward to see what they can do!
You mean 2035

Is this for real, final answer this time? Because custom paint colours on the Emira were initially a "no", then they were a "yes", then "no" again, and now they're back to "yes"... 🤨

@GlobalPilot777 We might not have to wrap / respray our vehicles after all! 😃

In light of the virtual collapse of the EV market, this would indicate they've decided to NOT discontinue the Emira in 2028. They'd be stupid to discontinue the most successful ICE sports car they've ever made.
