Lotus responded in 24 hours and will pay for 1st service.

Car currently at the dealers for a 2nd week, problems listed elsewhere, with no ETA back to me. I contacted Lotus CS about them paying for the 1st service due to all the problems I've had, and they've agreed and contacted the dealer to confirm with them. CS coming through at last.

The 1st service should be free due to the overall problems owners have had, will it happen, no, but worth pursuing it.
