I have the Milltek and GRP delete pipe sitting here next to my Emira. Just waiting it out a bit to make sure I need it but I'm almost certain I do. Do you notice much of a difference from inside the car? Honestly that's where I want to hear more of the exhaust. I feel it's far too muted from the cockpit.
Sounds great! How long did the install take?Emira sounds so good with Milltek Valve Controller and GRP 3rd Cat Delete. The crackles are a nice addition over the Evoras. Touring mode!
I noticed a lot of wind noise immediately when I hit I-40 out of Wilmington. Much of comes from behind me near the rear window. If it persists it's something I'll bring up with Lotus Cape Fear to address on its next visit back there.I'm not sure if it's just my car but I feel like I can hear a lot of road noise and wind even with the windows up. With that said even with windows up the exhaust sounds nice. Windows down is awesome. It definitely makes a difference. Anytime the valve is closed though you really don't hear exhaust at all.
Maybe it's normal for these cars. I feel like the rear window allows in more sound than EvorasI noticed a lot of wind noise immediately when I hit I-40 out of Wilmington. Glad to hear the Milltek and GRP delete make a big difference. I'm looking forward to that mod.
I should be getting my Meridian Blue in the next few weeks at Cape Fear. It’s already in the US and should be delivered soon. Will be stopping by there in the morning to get an update.Hello fellow Emira lovers from the Carolinas. I just joined the Emira forum and found this stream. I seem to be one of the few from South Carolina that I have seen replying on this stream so far; I'm in the Myrtle Beach area. I am really happy to hear that many of you are finally taking delivery of your V6's and having fun with this amazing car. I know for most of us this has been a long and painful waiting game but will be well worth the wait.
I am #1 at Lotus Cape Fear in Wilmington placing the deposit for the i4 AMG model, so unfortunately, as you all probably know will continue to have to wait a while longer to take delivery of mine. My ordered spec currently is a Meridian Blue with silver wheels, yellow calipers, and light grey interior. The color looks great in the configurator, but we all know that you need to see the real thing. While I have seen the actual car in this color in a few pictures, I would love to see it in person before I have to lock in the production slot later this year and would like to know if anyone has ordered a Meridian blue for the V6 FE 2.0's that are coming in sooner than the i4's, that has one coming in for delivery in the near future. I'm potentially still considering the Nimbus grey, so I want to be sure I'm making the right decision on the exterior color.
Hoping we all have great luck with our cars, and lots of fun and amazing experiences with what I believe is one of the best-looking cars ever made!!
Feel free to visit, I would like to hear what you think of my colour choice.Wow, that's great!! I really happy for you. Would you please let me know after you get an update on the timing. I also hope you don't mind if I contact Shane to also get a timing of when your car will be at the dealership before you take delivery. I would love to drive up to take a look at it!!
I have very little road noise with the sport suspension and cup 2s (even with the windows down at highway speeds). I was also surprised how little wind buffeting there was in the cabin with one or both windows down at highway speeds.I noticed a lot of wind noise immediately when I hit I-40 out of Wilmington. Much of comes from behind me near the rear window. If it persists it's something I'll bring up with Lotus Cape Fear to address on its next visit back there.

I'm heading down to Charlotte for a business trip in a few weeks. Staying in University City. What's the closest Lotus/exotic dealer that I can swing by to see some cars? Anyone nearby and wanna show off their Emira?
