More Than 360hp!? Lotus Emira 2.0T Dyno Test Review (1st 2.0 Dyno Test)

Like I said there are three tunes 360, 400, 419
Not really, the Lotus website in China only list the i4 as 400 but they will display over 415 in most case on the display which means it's just a M139 416 dropped into the Emira without an ECU change. Same as those in the US. so there's the 360hp and the 416hp and that's it.

Do you know if the marketing for China states 419hp? I know the US states 400Hp.

Official Lotus website in China list the i4 as 400hp

looking this up actually brought back memories. When I grabbed this image a year ago. I had a guy that claims to be working for Lotus UK in his FB profile keep telling me that there's no such thing as a i4 with 400hp

Thats Awesome. Tomorrow, I will pick up my Emira. Ill check to see what the display says after breakin. I asume the "display" is a performance metric? Correct?

I got the Emira 2.0 (Turbo) First Edition M139 in Tokyo, Japan. I am past the first service and oil change, soon coming up to my second service & oil change after 6 months.

I participated in a circuit day at Fuji Speedway and had the car up to 240 km/h (150 mph) on the main straight. With all the updates, the DCT gearing is fast and smooth without noticeable delays. It is a delight to drive on winding local roads with elevation changes (yes we have some on the western outskirts of Tokyo).

Regarding power, I am awaiting JUBU (Austria) and Syvec (UK) to work out an alternative tuning ECU (plug’n’play replacable) like they already have for the Emira V6 Supercharged. I have already paid JUBU a visit, and may go again soon.

I am not looking for maximized, ultimate power, and I have been told that the AMG DCT dual-clutch gearbox would need upgraded clutch discs if the engine were tuned to its ultimate potential (probably around 500 bhp). This means that I will be satisfied if the M139 in my car can be improved to 420 bhp - 430bhp.

I'd change those clutch plates in a hearbeat. lol Great Info to think I had that much horsepower in my Elise which is 1100 lb lighter. It kind of ruined me

How on earth did you get 500hp out of an Elise? I assume it was not a Toyota engined 4-pot
