Hello,
I was able to find an emira with the almost perfect spec to my liking.
What I don't understand is that for the same spec, the dealer who has 2 different location has one emira at 98k and the same emira (different interior) at 108k.
Both orphan cars I guess. I bought the one at 98k, new...duh.
The dealer said the previous customer was able to "lock the price".
Not sure I understand why I got this emira at 10k less than all the emira I am seeing.
Not complaining here ...but if someone could explain, that would be great.
Thanks

The cheaper one is a 2021 deposit holder, usually referred to as an FE1.0 car. A year or two after Lotus opened preorders, they increased the price because supply chain, inflation, etc. The new MSRP is ~10k higher and is referred to as FE2.0 cars. To not screw over people who put down deposits prior to that, Lotus allowed them to lock in the much lower earlier advertised MSRP.

Seems like you found a decent dealer who isn't trying to markup cars.

Funny thing is that the car is a Jan 2024 production date , so a FE.2.0 I guess
