New Shmee Emira video

It appears a little chunky to me for what it is. I know BMW has some larger fobs that have a screen for some of the self parking features. Just want something sleek and not too bulky for the pockets.
Very understandable.

I wonder if you will get an “activity “ key like Volvo do, its an extra key fob you get about the size of a memory stick , it doesn’t have any buttons on it or obviously the hidden metal key, but its great if you don't want to carry a bunch of keys around with you.

Never heard of this with Volvo. Very nice. I love the big fat Lotus key though. The bigger the better. However, if you want to reduce weight for the track, the activity key would be good.

It’s also waterproof, so a day at the beach/river etc is ok
would. be a nice touch but I 99% doubt its been thought about and while many of you guys will track these cars, I'd say the overall % will be way down less than 10%. Its a big thing in the UK, we have lots of tracks... but futher afield and away from this forum, Im not so sure. I doubt I will put mine around a track as I know its not as quick as way too many other cars, costing more or less and the tyre and brake wear on a heavy car, plus extra insurance costs.
but yes, the sports key would be nice. hah

Doesn't this key only work with keyless entry? As far as I know the Emira doesn't have any buttons/sensors on the handles so I don't think we can get an activity key

Think you may be right, Land Rover Discoveries also have an optional Activity Key (sometimes a wrist band) the clue is in the name, it's handy to have when you are doing activities such as surfing, mountain biking, etc, less important when you only stop for cars and coffee!

I cant stand him. Even if he had exclusive reviews of the Emira and the only one who had any video footage of it I could not bring myself to watch it.
I know he likes cars and I try not to get critical of people who do online stuff as its an option to whether I watch it but just the fact the guy is so annoying, prefixes everything with shmee 🤮 and he's living off his Dad's success to do his channel.
Its just like watching a 7 year old in a semi man body.

I do agree his usual stuff is very cringe and hard to watch, the Emira video is pretty dialed-back though, definitely worth a watch (on mute worst case!).

He normally seems to have had 5 cans of Schmonster Energy before filming...

Tom Shmanks 😉

I use to dislike him, but he's grown on me. Seems enthusiastic about cars and knows his onions. Couldn't give a crap if he's had a good start in life.
He is genuinely enthusiastic and I agree that the Emira video was certainly watchable. Some of his videos did make me cringe but at least they're not all about a drag race or flicking the thing sideways as some seem to be.

I think the simpler solution is to order without Black Pack, which has body-coloured mirrors, and then do whichever parts of BP you want. The roof can be vinyl or black PPF, tailpipe finishers and rear lettering can be black painted/coated (or buy the black versions as aftermarket parts) and mirrors can be wrapped too. It's easier to BP a non-BP car than it is to un-BP a BP car.
Totally agree. I originally ordered black pack with nimbus. Went on the factory tour in April and saw the cars in the flesh and subsequently deleted the black pack from my spec. It wasn't as if I disliked it, far from it, but to have the option to change the spec with a wrap seems a good choice. Nimbus looks sublime. Also preferred the s/s tailpipes of the non-black pack as you can see the detail.

But...let's be honest, 99pct of wraps look terrible close by. You have to look at it and let's face it, most of us in this forum are picky.

Same. Was Nimbus with black pack and changed it after the tour. Still love black pack.

Plus one to this. I was Magma with upper black pack, but removed it so that I could get the silver exhaust tips and lettering. i figured they would go well with the diamond cut wheels.
