Nimbus Grey Lotus Emira Photo Thread

I opted for this (nimbus) colour too but when I looked at one 'in the flesh' at Ashford Lotus with the wheels I want, they didnt match the body colour that well. I think this colour changes with the light (my mclaren did that too). Attached is the picture I took on a dull -ish day with my pixel 6 phone. There is a slight 'bronze' tinge.

Nimbus is definitely a "warm" grey, whereas the silver wheels are painted in a "cool" (almost bluish) silver.

The new Osmium Silver might be a closer match if the warm+cool tones of Nimbus+Silver wheels aren't to one's personal preference.

Finally got behind the wheel of a LHD on public roads thanks to Tony at @GatorMotorsport . Impressive digs they’re putting together!
I had a typed page on my PC about the color choices and combos when trying to pick, and I decided silver and yellow had to have upper black pack, no option. Yours spec is classy with the red seats/calipers 👍🏻

Picked up on Tuesday. No issues so far, not even the wiper malfunction. I must say it’s been pretty much perfect, a very engaging experience. Not too noisy on the motorway but nice and vocal in Sport mode inside the cabin. Plus it’s still running in.

It’s actually been quite a different experience from the first test drive I took, which was somewhat underwhelming. I had difficulty in that car with heal n’ toeing, the gear change was quite rough and the KEF sound system was also a bit of a disappointment.
It seems that Lotus have remedied all of these issues since that first test drive as my car is easy to heal n’ toe, gear change is the best I’ve felt in a lotus and the sound system, whilst not the best I’ve ever heard, is much improved .

Took a trip to Caffeine & Machine today….

Wish those diamond cut wheels went all the way around (like my mclaren). As they are, I have opted for silver instead.
