OEM Wheel Cost

My us dealer told me it’s $8k for a set of wheels. But he might have been spit balling he didn’t get a quote from parts
I guess regardless of whether they are 8k or 13k it is stupid money for a set but it wouldn’t surprise. In 2015 I nearly bought an Audi RS5 and was told the 19 inch wheels were £1200 each. Pretty sure the newer model that came out went to 20s and could easily of been £1500 each in 2018.
Either way the thing we need to consider is dealers and owners looking to buy used are likely to want a set of OEM wheels included or it will affect the price.
Personally now I’m on Aerie V2s mine will be cleaned, tyres rubber treated, wrapped in HD tyre clung-film and stacked in my office store room. Not a chance will I sell them just in case.

I actually just got a quote for an OEM set of wheels and winter tires from my dealer. I personally love the look of the diamond cut factory wheels. They came back at 1853 per rear wheel and 1638 per front wheel. All in cost with some winter tires was $9873. 😂 now I’m debating what to do. Do I go with GRP? Do I just have my mobile tire guy switch out the goodyears with some winter tires or all seasons and hope no damage occurs in all the tire juggling? I really don’t want to stop driving this thing in the colder days.

Normally, I’m one to buy winter wheels and tires and swap them out myself, but the cost here is pretty high for extending the season by a month on either side of winter.

I am facing the same dilemma. I already have another fun car with separate winter and summer wheels. I really do not want another set of wheels to manage but I am considering it.

Hey everybody
I just purchased a complete Emira OEM winter wheel set in Germany at Lotus Munich including tires for EUR 3.800 which is about USD 4.000 (including VAT, shipping and installation) last Friday. (Black shiny rims including black center cap)
If anybody seriously pays USD 10 k for that I'll open up a shop and fly the rims via Germany to the US :D ... these prices are almost ridiculous
Best regards
Christian

Much more reasonable. As it has been said, OEM wheel prices are all over the place. My dealer told me the OEM replacement for a 22 inch Audi wheel (Q8) was $2900 USD.

I ended up purchasing Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus All Seasons. My mobile tire guy is coming on Friday to switch them out. I'm going to kick the can down the road and put the F1's on some lighter rims and consider those my summers. I, too, am running out of storage space.

Do you have sport/touring suspension?

Can anyone validate that this is correct? My dealer is telling me that each wheel is between $3250-$3800 depending on if it's front or rear. Do we really have $15K of wheels on this car? That just seems hard to believe that 15% of the car cost is the wheels. They are sharing this to validate the cost of their wheel/tire protection program which is $4K for 84 months of protection, which seems high.

Any insight would be appreciated.
I never buy any protection plan from the dealers.. I take the chance 😀

Nice! These are the all-season tires I was considering too. I have run them on several cars.
