Its all about expectations…
For a high volume manufacturer like Porsche I expect robust bullet proof build quality. And I love my 911’s. They are bullitproof and I love every bit of it, everything feels so high quality.
For Lotus…small volumes, quirky…I forgive their flaws, appreciate their efforts to build something special. And have to admit, my Exige V6 was a damn fine piece of machinery. Never did anything wrong, loved every bit of it.
In hindsight…Porsche delivered on its promise, Lotus exceeded expectations. Pretty impressive.
