hi all, just got my hethel yellow emira dropped off yesterday and took it out for a short drive... the tpms was reading fine but on the way back, one of the tpms started to NOT read pressure and now i got yellow tire light ON....
also, the detente for reverse gear would not release and i can get it out of gear but i can't put it into 1st gear then, until i can sit there and mess with the detente to release...
also, is it normal for the car to start WITHOUT the clutch pressed in ? i think it was on neutral but ? all my cars have to have clutch IN for starting ??

any comments /replys appreciatede

Same issue as I have (twice); just got mine 2024 V6 MT 3 months ago…. I have to push the release mechanism when that happens in order to get any gears

Car will start with only brake pressed if in neutral. If not in neutral you do need to press the clutch.

I haven’t experienced any issues with reverse lockout but maybe check the spring inside gear knob?

If that’s ok I would remove the panel around the shifter to see where/why it’s getting stuck. Remove the rubber tray under the AC controls and pry the panel up from the front and work your way back. You’ll need to disconnect the start button and cut the zip tie holding the boot in order to completely remove the panel.

From what I hear, the stuck in reverse issue is that there’s a o-ring sitting inside the shift knob recess and it gets jammed on the reverse collar. Remove the set screw, remove the shift knob, and reset or completely remove the o-ring.

Makes sense ...or put a bit of oil or grease on the o ring.... mine has not done that recently...seems like it's loosened in now.... but it it does again, will do above....

Speaking of set screw. I filed mine with a nail file so it's not as sharp edged...since some one posted about it, been touching the spot m getting annoyed.... 😆
