New guy here. I'm curious about the Emira, and I'm not an owner yet.

Does the factory radio/audio system have a SD card reader for music?

Thanks!

No SD card slot for audio, there are two USB's inside the center armrest, keep in mind the clearance is very low, so you will need a smaller flash drive or one that pivots

Forgive me, but a small SD card reader into that USB port will allow mp3 music to be played?
I usually keep my songs on my phone, and there's built-in wireless WiFi, so no need to plug anything in to play music. As Davebeats says, if you put the songs on a stick, you may not be able to close the lid on the armrest.

Good to know. Thank you!
Correction and additional!

I tried quite a few cables and that one from Amazon wasn't quite right.
I think it fitted but was tight and awkward.

I use this one instead where the 90 degree angle goes the other way:
Right Angle USB C to USB C Cable

Secondly, when using a low profile USB A type stick that will show as USB device 2 in the Emira's media selection, and it's a pain to always have to select that because USB device 1 (the C connector) is always the default.

I use this 90 degree USB C to A adaptor so that it shows as the default device 1:
