Seneca Blue Lotus Emira Photo Thread

How are these the same color? This lighter photo has to be a bad filter right? I hate that baby blue color, but love most of the Seneca shots I've seen (and the sample I held in person).

I follow a lot of car photographers and dealerships on Instagram, and I see this all the time. You get used to mentally "calibrating" photos you see based on what you know the car should look like. :p My pro tip is that video footage is usually the most accurate source of truth, maybe because video colour editing is less-accessible to the average person? That's my best guess anyways.

But ultimately, just remember that you're looking at what the uploader wants you to see (i.e.: filtered through their eyes and personal tastes), and not necessarily a colour-accurate reference photo. :)

100%. This is my scheme and the bottom two are perfect - the top not so much. I feel like a lot of the shots I’ve seen since the reveal are lighter than the bottom two though and I suspect that’s the case in bright light which is what most of the pics have been taken in and was curious if this good blue is how it will look in the evening or shade as appears to be the case in these shots. Do you think these colours are accurate? That’s what I’m hoping for :).

I think (hope) this is a pretty accurate representation.

It is similar to Porsche Shark Blue but with a bit more metallic flake.

I watched her video on YouTube. Very nice. The car sounds great, and looks very stable going around the track. Even in the damp conditions it looked composed.

Found myself yelling at the TV watching her racing lines, but always happy to see new footage I guess.
I don’t know her track history, but I thought she did good. Thanks for sharing the video!
