It def was worth it brother! I definitely took a risk though.. Not really knowing what i was getting. I'll attach a picture of the wood box on my front porch it came in delivered in a 13 wheeler truck...They were pretty meticulous. Sorry if I came off defensive, just trying to help you all!

Not necessary, I've just always wondered, it does seem mounted tall enough for it to not matter. Good to know!

FWIW I asked my dealer on the East Coast to check if I can order the GT4 Wing directly from lotus. Will let you know regarding price and if it's available for order

Thank you! Yes definitely does. I had to get it mounted on the trunk. Here's some pics. The place that did the installation has a great reputation and really did a nice job! It's called Bulldog custom and Rod. They restore old cars and do small jobs like my spoiler. They put a pad between the trunk and spoiler mounts. Drilled holes from under the trunk.

Will this put a lot of strain on the boot/trunk at high- ish speeds? I would have thought that spoiler would develop 100Kg or more downforce - how is that load dissipated? Will it lead to stress fractures in the composite near the mounting holes over time?

Yes! No sag at all! It's solid. The wing is dry carbon fiber. Lightweight.

Sure will, but you're not going to be able to see how it mounts because they put back the undercarriage in the trunk. I'll send you a pic though. They did a great job! here you go my friend! and Thank you!

I posted pics of where the plates meet the trunk on the outside ... Is that what you mean? The plates in the hatch are blocked by the undercarriage of the trunk. I dont want to mess with the undercarriage. My wife and I are going to lunch now in the Emira Ill send you a pic of the car from a distance so you get a better look at how sick it looks.
