2024 lotus Emira first edition with GT4 replica spoiler hand painted and installed by a professional!

It def was worth it brother! I definitely took a risk though.. Not really knowing what i was getting. I'll attach a picture of the wood box on my front porch it came in delivered in a 13 wheeler truck...They were pretty meticulous. Sorry if I came off defensive, just trying to help you all!
13 wheels! That's serious business. Not sure if I've ever seen one of those. 🤔

Typo Bro! You must be from DC! wise ass behind the keyboard lol
Wow. Listen man, this is a friendly forum full of people who enjoy this car and want to have positive interactions about it. Please, stick to that pattern and don't make us get involved as moderators. This isn't a good way to get started.

There is a little visibility affected my friend.. I can send you a pic from my rear view mirror if you would like?

Not necessary, I've just always wondered, it does seem mounted tall enough for it to not matter. Good to know!

Do you have any pictures of the mounting points? The Stock GT4 wing is mounted on the chassis.

Really makes a difference to the car! How is it mounted? Please post pics of the mounting points when you have the time. Thanks!

[edit] @idleuser beat me to it ;)

FWIW I asked my dealer on the East Coast to check if I can order the GT4 Wing directly from lotus. Will let you know regarding price and if it's available for order

Thank you! Yes definitely does. I had to get it mounted on the trunk. Here's some pics. The place that did the installation has a great reputation and really did a nice job! It's called Bulldog custom and Rod. They restore old cars and do small jobs like my spoiler. They put a pad between the trunk and spoiler mounts. Drilled holes from under the trunk.

Thank you! So the trunk remains functional.

Will this put a lot of strain on the boot/trunk at high- ish speeds? I would have thought that spoiler would develop 100Kg or more downforce - how is that load dissipated? Will it lead to stress fractures in the composite near the mounting holes over time?

Does the hatch stay up with the wing on? Is there any sag?
Yes! No sag at all! It's solid. The wing is dry carbon fiber. Lightweight.
