✅ Solved Shifter Knob Covers?

Hey all,

I'm hoping to buy an Emira in 2025 (hopefully) and I see that shifter knob looks metal that'd make it hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Are there any custom fitted shifter knobs for the Emira that I could put on it? It'd be nice if the there was the gear diagram in red. Does anything like this exist cause I can't seem to find anything.

If you're really that concerned, I think it's an opportunity to put a crazy sock on there for fun. I'm in SoCal and use a sunshade. Never had issues with a hot knob. If you're in AZ or TX or something that's probably a different situation.

Welcome to the Forum! Using the search function, search "shifter knob" and you'll find other postings on this topic. But in general, most don't have an issue with the OEM shifter knob or if you do, there are preventive measures you can take, as mentioned by seriously above. I'd suggest trying yours out first, before taking any other steps. That said, I painted my OEM shifter knob which IMO improved its appearance, then after that and to my wife's displeasure, purchased a new Raceseng replacement. It was all aesthetics and nothing to do with temperature. Good luck getting your Emira and figuring all this out. You've come to the right place to get answers.

My wife got me this from Temu for like $2. She got me red (to match the start button cover) and white (to match the interior seats color). I have been using the red one and I love it. Cute little detail that is also functional!

LOL, I have the plain white version hoody -- that ball is super cold when it's 20 outside...but in all honestly, the hoody is rather slippery -- more for fun than function...but I still have it on there because it's warmer than the ball!

Mine. Doesn't really help much in the cold (the hood easily slips off), but should be good enough to prevent a hot knob in direct summer sunlight.

Here is my solution, also convenient for the winter as well, I usually start driving and after it gets warmer I remove it. Bought it off Etsy if I recall correctly
