Oh trust me, I had already thought about that. Then I added a star for symmetry sake.... now I can't tell if I made things potentially worse

the DMV lady had my off centered two times. Before she had no spaces and it was too far to the left, then she made 3 spaces and it was too far to right.

We got there with 2 spaces making it centered. Luckily for you, you can just add the star and the plate is black lol.
