📓 Journals The Full Magma

This prefix is only usable in the Lotus Emira Journals forum.
Happy to but would appreciate some advice from the Admins. I used to post pictures on another Lotus oriented forum hoping they would be useful for others and then found out there was a data limit on posting for each individual and the only way I could continue to post images was to purchase a “membership”. I offered to go back and delete some of the images but was told that was not allowed as it could impact on the continuity of threads. So I pretty much abandoned that forum and came over here. That’s why I usually only post in medium/low res.
So Admins, would it be ok for me to post some or all of those pictures in full resolution and are there any implications for my account on this forum?
The way they deal with it here is a per-image upload size limit. There's no max per user, I don't believe.

For full/max quality you may need to host externally and post links here.

Note: I am not an admin or a mod, I'm just passing along what I have gleaned.

Off on a very short road trip for the next day or two.
Discovered that on the trip meter display there is a read out for instantaneous mpg. However if you come to a stop this switches without you doing anything to a gallons per hour consumption readout. How cool is that! It’s these little things that make it special!

Well no one has said I can’t, so at the risk of spamming the forum with Magma, here come the collection pics at high res.

Loving the magma, but I'm hoping your suspension settles after some driving. The ride height looks above average to my eyes compared to photos of other deliveries. Might be instructive to take a measurement now to see if it changes over time.

Hey @Pugwash, sounds like you have done exactly what I wanted regarding PPF, are you happy to disclose the price (via DM?) Or is it best to just get in touch with Scott? Do you know who the local PPF supplier is?

Would love to know what you think about the job they've done on your PPF

Prices for factory PPF here. It isn’t cheap

The buttons on the key are flush to the surface. When I was washing the car it kept locking and unlocking itself as the key in my pocket was compressed as I bent down. My solution was to buy a small key case off that well known online retailer. This protects the key from scratches in my pocket and also seems enough protection to stop the lock / unlock while it’s in my pocket. I attached the key to the case with a small lanyard so it doesn’t slip out. I have found I can lock and unlock the car with a firm press on the outside of the case. It even came in matching black leather with red stitching. Other makes are available but if it helps the word Zouzt will get you to mine. Oh and it was £8.99!

You know, now I'm wondering... could some of these random warning/trouble lights on the dash be the result of drivers having the key in their pocket, and the buttons being accidentally pressed while they're driving? I don't know if that would trigger anything, but it's a thought. I don't like the idea of not having it in my pocket because it would be too easy to accidentally lock the key in the car, but I think I'll get some kind of case like you have just to prevent any possible issues.
