i love it. Very happy with my choice with Red Magma. Delivery next month cant wait

Wonderful photos Pugwash, thank you!! Great eye for composition as well, some of these are excellent.

It's so good to see the car in such different lighting, as well. You've provided context that we've rarely seen so far from a single car and the same camera, in different conditions.

Fantastic pictures, thanks for sharing with us!

One question: where is everyone? Your car should have crowds of admiring onlookers in every shot!

So to finish my short road trip, a visit to some other members of the family followed by the inevitable petrol station shot to finish. As Porter said above, it’s been interesting to see how the colour changes in different light conditions. It’s simply an iPhone XS Max So nothing special on the camera front.
For those who have been following my holiday snaps today, thank you for your reactions and I hope it hasn’t been too much.

It’s great to see cars out in the wild with owners enjoying their road trips 👍 with some great scenic shots 😊

One new thing learned today, the trip A reset only works if you are on the sub menu which purely has trip A on it. From the screen with Odometer/Trip A/Trip B it wont reset using the button on the end of the stalk. You have to scroll sideways to the Trip A “page” and then the reset works if you press and hold.

If both trip odometers are on the screen at the same time, does the screen let you reset both of them at the same time?

No. On the screen with Odometer/TripA/TripB when you hold reset down nothing resets.
I have my TripB set so that it zeros at the beginning of every day anyway. I suspect if I I scroll across the the Trip B sub screen I could reset that too by pressing the reset button but I haven’t tried that.

Things I have learned today.
1) Cruise Control. The manual says it increments in units of 0.6 mph when you press and hold or press repeatedly. In mine if you click the + it will increment in 5 mph for EACH time you click it. I found this by being at 50 and wanting to be at 60. I pressed it five times before wondering why the car was launching itself at the horizon and when I looked down it was now set for 75! If you press and hold it will increment in 1 mph steps. In practice the 5 mph increment is quite useful - two clicks is 10 mph, but beware as that’s not what the manual says.
2) Hill Start Assist. The manual says that if you stop on an incline the HSA will hold the brakes on for another two seconds after you release the brakes. This only appears to be true if you have your foot on the brake AND your foot on the clutch with a gear engaged. Then it will hold you for two seconds. If you just have your foot on the brake and take it off the car just rolls backwards.
3) The manual needs to be updated. Hopefully there will be a new version of the manual soon. My printed manual is the same version of the online manual which is dated Aug 2022. It seems to me they used the Evora one as the base and updated for Emira which may be why there are some of these anomalies. For example, under vehicle care on page 233 it refers to keeping the Alcantara clean in the Evora, not the Emira. However, there is the mysterious Rain Sensing Wiping button on page 124 which doesn’t seem to appear in the car and I am pretty sure never appeared in an Evora.
4) If you snowfoam your Emira go easy when you are around the slot at the lower edge of the rear window! Once the snowfoam gets in there it doesn’t want to come out again!

Second that on hill start assist, the car needs to be in gear with clutch depressed before releasing the brake pedal. My recent BMWs were the same and it's a useful function.
