Christopher Ward would also work. British design, Swiss made, great quality to price ratio. And they’ve got Morgan models already.
Good shout. Keeps it at a nice price point, but would still be a decent timepiece

What is you daily of choice?
I actually wear the classic Fifty Fathoms a lot, but sometime sprinkle in other pieces (I don't really have "weekend watches").

today its for example this one.

Oh and I would also love a Lotus watch! In fact my first digital watch as a kid was a Lotus ⌚🤪 I absolutely adored it.

Edit: Or was it called "Lorus" and I always just thought it is called Lotus? Googling pictures of vintage digital watches makes me wonder if my memory is correct.

Ah man you have all the watches I want, that is lovely 😅 I am currently looking for a Sinn U1 DS 👀
And ironically wearing one of my Sinns today 😊

It was LORUS as well. Think a lot of people's first watches were 🥰

@Leonard Ha, spooky! But you've got an awesome Sinn as well! Think this is the better "Navitimer". If you ever make it to Germany, visiting them in Frankfurt is worth a trip. Good driving roads around there as well.

Not a brotish brand but Sinn could also make a good value, small amount Lotus collaboration watch. They have done these type of things occasionally before and I think they aim for the same kind of enthusiasts.

I wouldnt say its better than my Navitimer but I got the Navi off my dad (1968 vintage). I DO like the fact that the Sinn is almost a full on 'replica' as they bought the rights to the Navitimer from Breitling when they went bankrupt!
Sinn would make a great Lotus watch, but it does need to be British in my eyes 😇

@Leonard Didn't know that Sinn got the license from Breitling! I absolutely get the dad's watch relationship and that makes it a very special watch for sure.

My dad left me his Tissot automatic chrono, the watch that I always found so special as a kid because it seemed to have a life in it ("you just need to shake her and then she starts ticking...").

My dad also infected me with Lotus, him being a massive JPS fan in the formula 1 age of the late 70s and 80s. And also a James Bond fan. Many years later I realised that he probably got a Tissot because they were sponsors of Lotus at the time.

Your Sinn 103 is also absolutely beautiful. If I haven't created myself the "only dive watches" rule, it would be the one to get. In fact, I always send watch newbies that ask me what to get to a 103 or 104 as they are such incredible good value.

Watches definitely don't need to be expensive to be special.
Love the attachment and memories that can come from owning or being given a watch ⌚🙂🥰
