I propose to have a new forum listed to help those tracking their cars, or those who may want to track, learn more about what the Emira is capable of on the track in a safe environment. It should be a forum that lists modifications, show pictures and videos. Discussions will help everyone build their level of track car and with practice become a better driver on the track that will make them a safer driver on the raod.
If it happens, we thank you!

I guess I'll start this TRACK TALK!

Phase I mods:

GRP exhaust for sound, weight loss & extra power
Milltek valve controller because I like it loud all the time
Rotora H6 pads until I get upgraded rotors and pads
Castrol SRF brake fluid is a must for everyone tracking
Antigravity 40Ah battery for weight loss
JUBU carbon front splitter for downforce
JUBU carbon engine lid louvre to replace rear glass to save weight and decrease engine heat
JUBU carbon swan neck 5 way adjustable for downforce
Carbon canards for downforce
GRP third cat pipe for sound and power
Eventuri air intake for sound and power
GRP harness bar to arrive in a few weeks with seatbelt harness to keep me planted
Wet sanded paint with Full XPEL fusion PPF and ceramic coating on calipers and wheels for insurance
GRP Carbon steering wheel with JC werks madtrace clubsport magnetic paddle shifters
Running the sports suspension with the Cup 2s until I run the tires and rotors into the ground for Phase II

Tracking the Lightning track at New Jersey Motorsports with www.nasane.com on 5/18 if anybody wants to join me or watch.

Who's next!?

Curious on your take of the h6 pads. Are they an improvement over the ferodos ds 2500 for mixed use? Are they loud?

I'm in the NJ area and hoping to visit njmp this season!

Just dropped the car off at Autosport designs today to get Castrol SRF brake fluid and these pads installed. Greg said he would not run anything higher because it will chew the rotors up and these are better. I an changing them and brake fluid because the #1 complaint is that there is brake fade after 10 minutes of hard hot track laps. And I know what it was like to lose the brakes at Watkins glen in my challenger until I went with Castrol SRF. Plus the brake dust is horrible when you drive as nice as me. I will give you some feed back when I get to try them out driving to Gabriel sports car to install all my JUBU parts. Then 2 weeks after that I will update everyone with some pictures and thoughts after driving it to get full XPEL PPF. The car sounds amazing with the mods I've done and it seems to be hitting the 6,800 RPM after I reached over 1,000 miles with break in under 4,000 RPM.

Looky what I was blessed to see when I dropped of my car. If I trade my Emira in I only have to pay $2,200,000 more. Deal or no deal!?

Have tracked on the Ferodo 2500's, the Pagid's from Jubu, and the PFC 08's from simply lotus

Ferodos - overheat, high wear, do not track these
Pagid's - overly high initial bite that make them near impossible to drive daily. Bite is a bit too high for track. Don't overheat
PFC08's - Fantastic. Least bite of the 3, which helps with the overly boosted Emira brakes. Don't overheat. Do squeal a bit in daily driving.

I race GT4 on PFC RSL's and have nothing but good things to say about this company and their pads.

Sick mods! I’m from NJ and would love to give it a go at NJMP. I’m out of town May 18 but down to go whenever else.

Really want to see that JUBU wing too btw!

Would you happen to have the PN for the PFC pads for Front/Rear?

Love the list of Mods above. I have the i4 which unfortunately doesn't have many of the performance items out for.

Did you ever get and install the JUBU AP racing rotors you mentioned you ordered on another thread?
Did you do front only or front and back?
I'm interested in getting the front rotors for sure once my stock rotors need replacing.

Yes JUBU AP rotors are installed.
Thing to note is that the rotors are a custom size for Jubu that AP doesn't carry stock, and they modify the rotors to be full floating. You will have noise of them clanking around below 50mph. Just know what you're getting into if going that direction.
They do include some caliper spacers to move them out and fit the rotors properly. Well thought through as this will give a bit more brake torque... but also amplifies initial bite of the brake pads, which is why I want to minimize it so much and prefer the PFC's over the Pagids.

I don't have the sizes for the pads. Smartly the boxes are de-badged when the pads are re-distributed or modified a bit. Can say I ordered from seriouslylotus if you want to find them.

I'll add a few more data points here. My car is the 6MT with touring suspension.

Some observations.

- OEM fluid can't handle the heat of track duty, even when it's fresh. I got soft pedal on 1 day old fluid from dealer.
- EBC SR-11 brake pads have too much friction for street tires, they're meant for slicks. Totally undriveable on the street.
- EBC RP-1 worked great together with Sport Cup 2's (LTS spec).
- Touring suspension is way too soft, I've got Nitrons coming, will track them a couple of times then report back.
- I've tracked the OEM SuperSports, the OEM PS Cup 2's, and now I'll be trying Dunlop Sport MAXX Race (80 treadwear tire). The SuperSports overheat in ~5 laps at laguna seca. Cup 2's were much better, lasted 25 minute session. Both feel very similar, but Cup 2's are a tiny bit more grippy. Other than heat management, surprisingly little difference. The dunlops will be for my next track day. I have a set of GRP forged monoblock wheels now.

As a track novice I'm having my first track day in my Emira in less than 2 weeks. Some mods I've done:
- GRP dry intake filter
- Milltek valve controller
- GRP short shifter
- ZL1 Addons tow hook

Mods to be done before track day:
- Castrol SRF brake fluid
- GRP 3rd cat delete
- GRP 12mm hub centric wheel spacers

Next steps:
- new brake pads (haven't decided which ones to get)
- lightweight lithium battery
- cold air intake (GRP or Eventuri)

I have sport suspension with cup2s. I would only do a couple of track days per year, so the car is 90% street. Will not be getting too much track mods.
