The lovely delivery people at Lotus have been in touch tonight and sent me a taster via WhatsApp of whats in store tomorrow. Exciting or what!

CC Rang me yesterday to say my Magma Red Emira is being delivered next Tuesday 1st Nov -- maybe they think Im a dealer wanting a demo car!! Fingers crossed - they have my retention cert, asked me to pay 48hrs before and sent me an identity check today. Looks like its really going to happen.

Lol Randomly driving round Darlo to spot Emira out in the wild . Literally I kid you not when I first knew about the I8 there was a guy in Durham had one and I stalked him almost. I rang his electric gates and asked if I cud video his car he literally invited me in and I did a whole video on his car, then I saved enough pennies to buy one myself the year 1/2 later. Loved that car also the flippy out doors the cockpit was such a cool area to be. Same guy has the Audi E tron now

I sold my i8 way too early in expectation that we would have the Emira in May, as first told ...

I've had Maserati,Aston Martin,Porsche, Lotus and I kid you not,the i8 was my favourite of them all.

The looks,the instant power,the rubber necking looks....

All it lacked was the noise and the badge.
Defo recommended to those who aren't fully sold by the Emira

Well its arrived and am pleased to day it doesn't disappoint. It's a beautiful looking car. The Black Pack really sets it off. Only been for a quick drive so will report more later today. On a positive note for everyone else, I am delivery number 3, and they have 350 cars lined up to ship out by the end of the year, most of which are at pdi stage.

Congratulations the car looks fantastic. Could I ask how the handover process works, do they just unloaded the car and give you a chance for a look around before they go on their way or is there a little more too it.
