Update of colour choice poll (plus black pack), post Harrys Garage / Roadshow and better photos.

Interesting poll. With my statisticians hat on a sample size of 100 should give accuracy of around +/- 10% on a population of 2700 UK deposits, although of course there are plenty of overseas members on here so the 2700 figure is probably way out. Then there is the question of how representative forum members are - it is probably skewed towards Lotus enthusiasts rather than those new to the brand.

From the comments on this and a couple of other forums the only colours no one seems to have any beef about are Nimbus and Seneca. A lot of people seem to think Hethel Yellow should be metallic (although personally I like flat yellow - more classic Lotus), Verdant Green should really have been lighter and more like Racing Green, Magma should be more red and less burgundy (but its still the poll leader), and of course Lotus may as well not have bothered with Shadow Grey

I think shadow will look great with the right spec..
shadow black pack and diamond cut wheel or even black wheel would lool mean . I contemplated shadow but my last 2 cars were dark grey so I’m going nimbus with black pack instead

Same here.
I really thought about shadow and green, but my Range Rover is dark-ish grey and my Aston is green. Therefore went Nimbus for the Emira for a change!

I would have gone yellow if it was a metallic. In the UK I think non metallics can look a bit flat in most natural light. I may still eventually go yellow but definitely would have preferred a metallic yellow such as was available in the final edition Exige they had in Bell & Colvill.

The statistical relevancy aside, 0 votes for one of the launch car colors is a sign for sure.

When people say “this will change when we can see the cars in person” that probably goes more for the other 4 colors.

This would cause me to make a change to Black or White and/or remove the color choice from FE.

OR

It’ll be ultra-rare and good for those who choose it.

Yes and I think one of them only chose it as a base colour as was planning to fully wrap the car in a different colour

Just some perspective... the car in the foreground is 'flat'. background is metallic - you really don't see the metallic unless you look closely - no one has ever said to me that its a shame my car isn't metallic

From another non-statistical sample, I have no Shadow Grey cars signed up for next year's Isle of Man trip, versus 2 Nimbus Grey places taken plus 3 on the reserve list. Surprisingly, there's also still one spare Verdant Green space.

Of course my sample is a very skewed subset of total orders!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing! If the road show cars where Seneca blue and the other Magma red, we would go bananas even more! Lol

At the risk of tipping my hand too early, although Seneca is the base colour I could definitely live with, I'm leaning heavily towards the idea of "wrapping" it in xpel stealth PPF for a bit of variety... If you like a satin finish, that could jazz up some of the other colours nicely too IMO

At the risk of tipping my hand too early, although Seneca is the base colour I could definitely live with, I'm leaning heavily towards the idea of "wrapping" it in xpel stealth PPF for a bit of variety... If you like a satin finish, that could jazz up some of the other colours nicely too IMO

Satin wrap seems to be trending right now too. Not gonna lie, the Emira will look good even with mayonnaise over it! Lol. So go for it!

Let's complicate it a little bit more!
Take into account that in your sample includes 95 % UK, 5 % rest of the world.
Had I chosen Shadow instead of Nimbus, I would have screwed the statistics by countries!!
I would have felt really bad, although I'm still in time to screw it if show up with mine wrapped in white!!

I am going for Shadow Grey and have just voted, I was going to go for the Nimbus Grey but it looked too cream for me on the samples i saw, I want to use the car and want an understated colour, also i do like the Shadow Grey and have seen it in the flesh, i am going for Black Pack and Black wheels.
