Even their own Megane RS has a 10k Euro tax on list now (Ferrari's etc up to 50k Euros tax!). Many manufactures have stopped selling sports cars / hot hatches in the French market. So small mercies that the UK govt with their daft approach to cars being the root of all problems is not doing the same :-(
