Sold this in September ('21 Boxster T) and was going a completely different direction until I discovered the Emira. Have a '21 Macan GTS for my daily and my wife drives a '22 Panamera 4S

What color Spyder and what’s your planned Emira spec?

I am either going Hethel Yellow or Magma Red, black alcantara with corresponding stiching, no black pack, silver wheels, black calipers (maybe yellow with magma). Unless one of the new base colors catches my eye.

GT silver, Black interior, black top silver wheels - Spyder

DV, Black alcatara yellow stitch, DC Wheels - Emira (may change to Tan Leather....)

I think it's a perfect two car sports car garage!

Fed up waiting for Emira (due Q2 next year if I can believe that) so have been on the hunt for an alternative in the meantime and bought this at the weekend…a 2018 F-Type SVR. If I like it too much maybe the Emira will be cancelled but keeping my options open for now (anyone know how close to expected delivery the deposit becomes non refundable?)

It’s a special SVO colour called Scafell grey satin - the satin effect really shows of the shape - a key reason for picking this car (have been looking for an SVR for over 2 months and couldn’t resist this one)

I've seen this color on Range Rovers before. It looks great on the SVR! What's the maintenance like on a satin paint finish?

Just scratched my Emira itch for a second time, Mazda Mx5 BBR 300, love the E86 (Z4) but really fancied a convertible, if anyone is interested the Z4 is available, a great stop gap car that is retaining its value well.... Future classic.

Your car looks a bit like my MX5, though my car is a PRHT version. It has lots of modifications - intake, exhaust, suspension, lights, wheels.

Deposit is refundable up until you get the Checkout email and Lotus ask you to sign the contract, which is supposed to be about 30 days before delivery.

Thanks Tom - that’s good to know - just need to work out how to keep SVR AND still take delivery of the Emira (that really would be my dream combo…but divorce can be expensive!)

I’m told it’s just careful hand wash/snow foam - no polishing! I really didn’t think I’d like a satin finish - I’ve always liked to clean/polish/shine my cars but this particular colour just works (at least for me). Never thought I’d love a “grey” coloured car!
