What are you driving until the Emira arrives?

BMW ALPINA B3 Bi-Turbo Touring (F31) with Akrapovic Exhaust and (soon) Drexler mechanical Limited Slip Differential, and a 2008 BMW 335i Convertible (E93) with Ohlins suspension and direct ECU tune.

E300. Had it since new; nice car, not a fast bit of kit like alot of you drive, but good for city driving. Not reached 10k miles yet if anyone wants to buy it lol, want it gone for July (fingers crossed)

Well, now my Emira is away on holiday, I too am without one so rely on these, and my motorbike:

The Emira is the least powerful of all of the cars would you believe - 100HP + less.
It is by far the quickest around the bends and, hopefully, the cheapest to run by some distance.

How do you like it? I thought if I could find one for the right deal I would pick one up. The GR86 is also on my radar and doesn't see to be as hard to find.
I bought in January and paid over sticker.

I like it a lot, but for my old bones it would be too extreme for an every day driver- suspension pretty stiff. For me it's more of an every-other-day car.

Thanks Tom - that’s good to know - just need to work out how to keep SVR AND still take delivery of the Emira (that really would be my dream combo…but divorce can be expensive!)
We have to presume that your wife is that «dream woman» to stay with you for life, and regarding which of the various precious cars to receive and to keep is a matter of practicing successful “triage”.

Just bought this cayman s last week after waiting nearly 2 years and expecting another 1-2 year wait. Should hold me over until then. Should have done it sooner.

My Emira LE is like anyone else in the USA on hold till regulation EPA approval & my Z06 is late 4ThQ 2023. So traded my daily Audi Etron Prestige for the Etron GT to hold me over, love the car. I also have a company SUV my wife and I call the Donkey as a daily driver.

So you're going to eventually have both the Cayman and Emira? That seems a bit redundant.
Na. Will sell or trade the cayman on the Emira. Unless I get attached to the cayman but then would likely order my own spec gts.

I recently put my hat in the ring for an Audi RS3. I'm only interested in cars that are not available. Until one of them becomes available, I'll continue to abuse my Honda.

Okay, I have to admit that I was feeling humorous this morning, especially after seeing so many nice cars posted. I do drive a Senna, but only while using my XBOX console with full driving stand. In fact, there is an Emira in Forza Horizons 5. I just haven't had the opportunity to drive it, virtually or in reality. The dealership with which I have a deposity does not have an Emira yet. :sneaky:

Here's my actual fun car:

heres mine! 2020 M240i with a buncha mods including a dinan tune. 420-450 hp probably, havent tested. an absolute blast to drive, i look forward to turning it on every day. also i plan on keeping it when i get my Emira.

I also definitely plan on giving my Emira the same treatment minus the tune maybe (causes a lotta headache). various upgrades + carbon fiber bits. I hope some cool choices come out between now and 14 months. the Emira also looks so gorgeous already maybe no CF bits. depends whats out there
