What are you driving until the Emira arrives?

You must be OK with the wheel gap.
I’m looking at some 2015-2016 i8’s. Depreciation has taken ~2/3 of MSRP so should provide a little fun before trading in when (if??) my base Emira arrives. Summer 2022 depositor. Dealer told me to expect to place order summer 2024. We’ll see about that.

I8’s a great car throughly enjoyed mine when I had one in 2017/ 2018 - still look great on the road

Appreciate the reply. I’m pretty excited about it. Doubt it’ll talk me out of the Emira when it’s time but it’s as good a place as any to park my money until then.

I had a 2019 i8 Roadster and it was easily one of the most reliable cars I owned. I was amazed at how seamless the car would advance from battery power to engine with no discernable difference in feel. I've read stories that the engine noise was artificial and piped in but, in truth, that didn't really bother me. i just felt that the interior finish could have been significantly better based on the car’s MSRP and the fact that it was sold as BMW's halo car for quite a few years.

I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up if the design of the car appeals to you....

I bought a 2016 F Type Jag 3.0 with auto gearbox. I have ordered the i4. It is a good looking car and nice to drive. Using it as a daily. Bit thirsty at 25 to gallon but don’t do too much mileage. Bulk of depreciation already done so hopefully won’t lose too much on it or will pass it over to the wife when I get my Emira. I am interested to compare the Jag auto gearbox to the I4 when they have cars available to test drive.

2023 Honda civic sport. lol.

I commute 35 miles a day and sold my 718 Cayman GTS not too long ago.

I never thought that I would be posting another car on here two years later. I never thought it would happen but I just got tired of waiting. I will still take delivery but will probably flip it since I closed on this. I’m not a flipper but Lotus left me no choice.

I'll take it 😄

Still have my 2014 DB9…Bought a manual 997.1 C2S cab a little over a year ago to hold me over … love it so much it making me reconsider the Emira…

Just ordered my wife a Mini Electric. What a fun zippy little car. Tons of low end torque and corners better than my F-Type

Almost pulled the trigger on a Alpha Romeo 4c, but I hurt my back getting in and out of it. So I'm still driving the M4.
