Can’t wait for the Emira to be built. Driving a BMW i8 at the moment. I used to have an Evora. Excited to get back into the Lotus brand.

How did you find the i8 compared to the Evora?

Love the bimmers! Had the opportunity to have E46 gen, F80 and F85 with the latter still part of my ride . Enjoying the M340XI as well

Well I’ve had my Emira for 3 weeks now but today whilst waiting for my coil overs to be fitted I was lent a Smart car diesel with an auto box, 800cc engine and a whopping 45hp.
Considering they have no duty to provide me a courtesy car I was extremely grateful and to be honest it wasn’t terrible. Ok it had the slowest gear changes ever but not only did it do 75 mpg but when I got back into the Emira it felt even more special. I think dealers are missing the trick here and should provide super slow poor handling courtesy cars so customers are always happy with the upgrades completed.

This is just perfect. My family would laugh SO hard at me if I came back home from the Lotus dealer in this thing. It almost seems appropriate given the Lotus experience thus far.

It wasn’t Lotus as they don’t fit coil overs, it was my local performance garage.
I told my daughter the Emira got sent back because the engine blew up and I bought this due to being fed up of the issues with performance cars. She wasn’t impressed and said ‘I told you that you should have kept the RS3’.

Don’t. I had a ‘21 Supra in Refraction Blue, and as wonderful as it was, Emira is a better driver’s car.
