What colour have you ordered?

So what colors are we not seeing for FE that will likely be coming for non FE?
Orange, White, Off white, Black, Lime Green?

White and black for certain. Perhaps not immediately but at some point a traditional Lotus green. TBH, I think Lotus stuffed up with the choice of Verdant Green, and if they announced tomorrow that based on customer feedback they were changing it to British Racing Green, we'd probably find that 50% of FE were ordered in that colour.

I'm currently down for all yellow, all silver, yellow stitch black alcantara (and trying not to stress about missing stitch on steering wheel!)
Sensible side of me periodically changes it to green but then I look at this again.
The new Hethel models do make the red look good though.

Hello all

After four gruelling, indecisive days of playing about with the configurator, I’ve ordered the Nimbus Grey with black pack, V6, sports suspension, diamond cut wheels, yellow brake callipers, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, tan leather with black leather steering wheel, homelink and vehicle tracker.

Thanks to those who posted the colour model pictures which helped me to decide on my colour combination.

Can’t wait now until April 2021!

Well well, Magma seems to have had a late surge and is now the front runner on here, and Verdant seems to have a lot of new fans too. Wonder how representative the poll is of UK FE orders as a whole?

Saw the new form samples at The Duke of London but the lighting wasn’t good for accurate photos. However the Nimbus looked very close to Titanium Silver on my S1. I think this colour shows the best variance over the curves, but does look like a rather boring colour for the drama of the car. Blue edging to the top of my list.

Yep I really wanted the green but its just too dark for my taste, just a couple shades brighter in the lower spectrum would have made it much closer to the first configurator renders which looked about right. The latest configurator renders look quite a bit darker but apparently they are more accurate to the real thing. Ended up choosing Nimbus which Im really happy with now. Seeing the new renders I think Nimbus highlights the body design the best.

Agreed, I think the samples look closest to the Storm Titanium too, (had it on my S2) - Im fortunate that my car wont be for a while so should be able to see colours in real life. The new configurator isnt selling me Nimbus as much as first did, Im 50/50 sticking or going DV Green, but like mentioned above, the original (wrong) DVG was the colour I wanted, a tad lighter. Be interested in seeing Base colour options and configurator in a couple of months, if anything will put the cat amongst the pigeons that will (prepare for Emira forum meltdown!! ;-))

I'm going verdant green because it's 3 colours in one. Dark green, lighter green and black depending on the lighting conditions..... and I'm a sucker for getting value for money!

I’m going for magma, but looking at the votes, so are a lot of people. I want a colour that’s limited to a few, I’m thinking that magma may now look awful on the Emira and that it’s in all of your interests to change your mind

Nimbus isn’t the same colour as Storm Titanium but it behaves in a similar way. It changes colour noticeably with viewing angle and lighting, plus it picks up tones (not just reflections) from the surroundings, such as buildings, sky and road surface. McLaren Blade Silver is a closer match to the colour.

I was leaning towards nimbus grey but after seeing the samples. I'm heavily thinking Magma red.

When you look at that larger samples on the curve to me they don’t look like the colour of the smaller discs. The smaller disc looks more red the other samples not so much

I’m going with the v6fe auto, green no black pack, tan, silver wheels w black calipers.

Tan will go superb with the green and yes silver wheels. Great spec for this colour

Shadow grey not too popular - I’m the only person who’s indicated they’re going for it so far. And I’m only picking it because it’s the best base for a custom wrap

I love the GT4 look, so I’ve decided to go all in and put a livery on the car as soon as I get it. So shadow grey base for me.

What colour ? Like the photo so are you just going to do the top parts of the car ? Interested to see your finished article

Is it just me but when looking at the magma colour discs and the mini cars, from different posts they all do not look like each other I see slightly different all the time ? For me it was between the red and nimbus. I am hoping when we do get to see the cars in all the different colours that I’ve made the right choice but I think they will be a possibility that I may want to change depending if the red doesnt look burgundy
