What did you do to your Emira today?

Those are beautiful. Love that color. Looking for something just like that for my Dark Verdant green. Post picks when mounted please
The offset on the rear wheels aren’t right unfortunately (Turbo OEM rear are ET64, not ET54). Probably not so obvious in this picture, from this view, but they poke out too much. The wheels are good otherwise.

Not so sure about the bronze colour, when fitted to my Osmium Silver car, maybe needs more contrast. My standard wheels are the diamond cut, so a bit more bling. Or maybe I just need a chance to get used to the new look. What do you think about the colour combination?

I like the bronze on silver idea but agree that a brighter

My vote would be brighter. But can you change it? Your car looks dark for OS. Must be the lighting. In general I still dig the bronze/gold aftermarket wheels look.

It’s taken inside, so yeah, looks dark. Colour isn’t a big deal, I can change that later, no rush.

I was debating between the bronze and champagne gold. Now I have the bronze, I think you made a better choice :ROFLMAO: but seriously, I need some time to get used to it. Finding out the offset was wrong, didn’t put me in a great place

Grass is always greener, etc etc

For some strange reason, my Emira participated in a Porsche owners event at Fuji Speedway. This being my very first track event in a car, I quickly realized that to install the tow hook, you need to remove the rubber cap with long nosed pliers. All I had were chopsticks...

Needs must!
How was it?

Chopsticks were too soft for the task.

The track was fun! No pedestrians, no bicycles, no trailers, just wide open pavement for 4km. Was able to clock 220km/h on the home straight even with my slow shifting.

I had a professional driver drive for 2 laps in my Emira, pointing at the markers and record lines, only one hand on the wheel while the rear tires were screeching through the corners... Which reminds me, the stock Emira may not have been the fastest on the straights, but it felt like I could catch up with the others in the corners. Brakes are great.

I'm definitely going again next month!

@T6061 @RyanGphoto I bought the lights from Taobao (Chinese eBay) for around 30 USD link to the product. I'm not sure if there's any convenient ways to get them in the US. The installation is relatively easy. Just need to remove the door panel, pry the OEM light off and snap the new light in. The fitment isn't very good, they made the snap hook too small. I used paper to fill in the gap and ensure a snug fit. Others have used electrical tapes.
I tried multiple times to try and use google translate and going to the site.. I can't for the life of me figure out how to order them... So I will wait for someone else to place an order and maybe piggyback on that..

Thanks for sharing!

How do you like the rounded steering wheel? I haven’t picked up an Emira yet, but I have test drove them. Do you get used to the square wheel? Or is the rounded easier to drive with?
I never really found it hard to drive with a square wheel, it’s just feels a little weird. This wheel is great, I really just like the looks of the alcantara and the traditional round steering wheel. Just need to make sure I keep it clean

Hopefully these links work for you:

Emira logo

Lotus logo

And you do not need to remove the door panel as others have said. The old lights will pop out with a trim removal tool.
