Where have you gone instead of Emira?

Since EVO concluded it was the best car of 2022...and Lotus pushed my initial September delivery for the Emira to Nov, then Jan, then April, then ?... I got this:

Pretty car. They are $260,000 to $300,000 used in the US currently. Great for you. Have you reviewed it somewhere? I would be interested in reading if you have.

Wasn't looking for one, but walked into one of the high end dealers over Xmass - just having watched the Evo car of the year video - who received one in Grey Mistero + backpack...3 months old, 2600km. Instantly fell in love. Beautiful car, supercar presence. It's a lot of (super)car for the money, considering what an SF90 or 396GTB go for.

In the course of this year I hope to become 80 years old and therefore are planning to sell my "overstock" at moderate prices:

1) - 1975 Honda Goldwing GL1000 K1 (2nd owner since 1978 and now 11.000 mls); fully original......In 2016 in the USA elected by the NGWClub.com as "Bike of the year 2016" .......amongst 12 nominees, with 29% of the voters votes.....

2) - 2008 Mazda Rotary Renesis RX-8 HP / 231 hp , 6 speed.......I am the 1st owner and a Wankel enthousiastic / expert; now 50.000 mls.......has every year been in winter storage for 6 months......in very, very good absoluut rustfree condition......excellent compression figures......amazing to drive like a Lotus.....steering, shifting, road holding, front: double alu wishbones, rear drive with carbon transmission shaft.

Wow, sir you certainly have taste!

I studied a semester at the Vehicle Research Institute at Western Washington University in Bellingham back in 1996. The professor there was a Wankel and Lotus fan. Drove an RX7 daily but also owned a Lotus Europa with an RX7 engine in it.

Finally delivered today! Traded my R8 for this plus a nice check in return. 900 miles, 1 owner 2020 GT350R. It's about 25° today, so a quick run up and down the road on cold Cup2's was a bit of a joke . Sound is unreal, happy to finally have a manual transmission car again and my tall-ass fits comfortably in the Recaros. Only about 13 of these were ever made in this particular color (Rapid Red). Very similar to Magma in how it looks more cherry in shade and pops like crazy in the sun. It's also a perfect color match to my new truck.

It's currently tucked away on flat-stopper tire blocks with a trickle charger, waiting for warmer weather and clean pavement!
