That’s what I meant say :) I didn’t do the job myself, was just keeping an eye whilst others did the job.
Apparently it is easy if you remove that part I circled above. Only got this info after it was all done, so not too sure about the details.
You don’t need to remove the turbo. We removed part of the turbo to get the cat out, but I’m told you can do it without even doing that.
The circled part can be removed, then the cat can be removed through the access panel in the trunk, without removing any of the turbo. This is what I was...
Yes, exactly the same. It pushes the fronts out 12mm and the rears 15mm (on a V6) on the outside face of the rim. However with ET64 instead of ET54, the rears are pushed out 25mm reference to standard wheels, which is too much. It looks silly and will rub.
After a track session, you can see some crazy low values on a tank for sure. My I4 was slightly more than that after a track session plus fill up, but not much more.
The I4 does better on fuel and does well in a run, but it drinks plenty if you actually use remotely use the power on the road.
I was debating between the bronze and champagne gold. Now I have the bronze, I think you made a better choice :ROFLMAO: but seriously, I need some time to get used to it. Finding out the offset was wrong, didn’t put me in a great place
Grass is always greener, etc etc
The offset on the rear wheels aren’t right unfortunately (Turbo OEM rear are ET64, not ET54). Probably not so obvious in this picture, from this view, but they poke out too much. The wheels are good otherwise.
Not so sure about the bronze colour, when fitted to my Osmium Silver car, maybe...
Mine can squeak a little at very low speeds, more so since I went with Endless pads (but they did it slightly on OEM pads too).
It isn’t a big issue for me personally, but I can understand it could be annoying.
I am talking a fairly quiet squeak, it’s not very loud and it’s when almost at a stop.
That’s good to hear (y)
Could be a lot worse. The wheels aren’t in Europe or USA and are totally fine for a V6 Emira. Changing the colour in the factory is a minor cost, so worst case it’s a small rework on 2 wheels. Far from the end of the world as a seller.
Better to find out sooner than...
