Darkworks Design Shifter boot delete bezel

Darkworks Design shifter boot delete trim arrived today and was a breeze to install.

Just need a T-10 torx to undo the 4 bolts holding the OEM boot trim to the center console and snips to cut the zip tie from the reverse collar.
Took about 10 mins. Most of that was trying to pry the center console trim off without damaging anything.
Mine was on pretty snug, it felt like I would break the trim, but I just kept working at it on each side.

there is a fix for that. In the "float console mod" thread some of us have purchased the undertray for the automatic and fitted it under the shifter mechanism. should catch just about anything you drop

Yeah usually when things go in they just bounce out. Or you can grab them when the car is stopped. It’s not the issue pple suggest when they haven’t done it.

The one time I dropped something was when I was eating in n out fries and shifting which is not the common use case im Sure. As well as holding your key fob while driving…
