How do you turn on auto-translate? I can't find the setting.

Watch it on YouTube. Turn on CC, then choose the settings icon, and select the language. By default for this video it was set for Japanese.

Is it just me or the tan leather crazy strong, orange looking in that video? Actually in many videos it comes across incredibly orange, hope it's not like that in real life.

Nimbus in the showroom, but DV in the test drive later in the video

When I placed my deposit over a year ago, the online configuration tool was the only glimpse of DV available and I was smitten with the gorgeous green color displayed. Having owned a few green cars over the years, I was excited for a British sports car in a shade of BRG. That said, I had a very hard time choosing between Seneca and DV. Seneca is a gorgeous shade of blue, after all. I finally landed on DV, optioned with full black pack, black wheels, yellow Calipers and tan interior.

After the first "spy photos" / drivers academy photos finally began to surface, (and it took forever, didn't it?!) I was disheartened at just how black it appeared - - much different than the configuration tool seemingly illustrated.

As more and more "out in the wild" videos and photos appeared, it became painfully clear to me that I just did not like the color. As I had one on order, I kept trying hard to find something to like about it, but it was just too black and not enough green and I didn't love it like I loved all the other bits of the Emira. Sure, it looked great in certain high-light photos, but only in focused spots (with much of the gorgeous body lines hidden by blackness elsewhere).

Long story short, about a month or two ago, even after reading on here it was not likely to work, I contacted my dealer to try and change my spec to Seneca (with everything else the same). I finally got acknowledgement a few days ago that my change was accepted. I truly hope DV is stunning in-person and that every deposit holder who spec'd it before photos were available is happy with it. I think, personally, I'll be happier with Seneca.

It has been a pleasure riding the wave of mystery with all of you DV gentlemen. But I'm done being a masochist trying to force myself to be happy about something I wasn't. I feel better now. Thanks for reading this diary entry.

It is pretty dark in everything but bright light. I have some ideas to accent it that I want to pursue, but my alternative is Nimbus Grey. I wish the DV was closer to the wrap color someone posted above.

First time I have seen DV in the flesh. The colour has so much depth and is really impressive under lights. Although even out of them it is still clearly a shade of green and not black.
From some of the pics online I was worried there would be too much blue in it, but in reality isn't turquoisey at all and I am really pleased I went with the DV and silver wheel combo
I have to concur though that it is hard to photograph and (amateur phone) pics don’t do it justice, but here are some anyway.

I think your location means quite a bit, as those living with lots of sunny days will enjoy an amazing emerald-like color. Those who live in England or Seattle, to name a couple, may choose to select a lighter, brighter color. One of my cars is a dark blue with multi-colored metalflake. Under direct overhead or angled sun, the car looks amazing = hints of blueish green. At night and under clouds, it looks almost black.

Looks like they brought it to Lotus Hause. Kinda neat. I was there back in sept…first Emira I saw in the flesh.

Sorry, have been offline for a while.
I'll try and get a full update done with pics.

Brief story is:
Have had some issues.
Have now done 1600 miles.
Am pissed off with the weather, as I can't easily wash it!
Overall I'm very happy - this is a proper upgrade for me as I'm coming from a 2010 normally aspirated Evora.
Will write up in detail soon! Promise!

I do think DV is much darker in images than reality. When not being lit up by sun or lights it is definitely dark but I would also say clearly green unlike in the image above (which seems to have disappeared when I refreshed the page?).

I took the picture below on a wet overcast day to try and demonstrate this. The first (left) is as taken, whereas in the second (right) I have adjusted the levels while standing next to the car to reflect what my eyes were actually seeing.

I'd honestly say that my photo reflects what I saw in real life at that moment in time, but as soon as the sun hits it then there's a lot more colour.

I took delivery of my Evija. Dark Verdant, of course.
