Dark Verdant Lotus Emira Photo Thread

I do think DV is much darker in images than reality. When not being lit up by sun or lights it is definitely dark but I would also say clearly green unlike in the image above (which seems to have disappeared when I refreshed the page?).

I took the picture below on a wet overcast day to try and demonstrate this. The first (left) is as taken, whereas in the second (right) I have adjusted the levels while standing next to the car to reflect what my eyes were actually seeing.

This is exactly what I suspected. Because of the high reflectivity of the glossy surface, cameras are having a hard time resolving the color underneath, so they seem to treat it as an exposure shot and lose much of the color in the process.
