I placed my order for a V6 manual on 12/23/24 to secure a position for when the order books open in March. Delivery expected late summer.

Lotus accepted my V6 MT order on 9/26/2024. Haven’t heard a peep since.

And just like that I got a VIN today! Progress….

Lotus accepted my order for a 2025 V6 Manual November 7.....Hope to have delivery this spring, so far no new news...

My build was approved by Lotus Feb 7, 2025, so I'm hoping for delivery mid-summer '25.

My build was locked 12/29/24, according to the dealer. I was down in AZ last Thanksgiving and drove my brothers and had to order one. Dealer originally said May/June '25 but why do I have a feeling this is going to drag on?

Final order form was submitted on December 13, 2024.
Expected delivery date is April or May 2025.

V6 order placed around Nov 12, order approval from Lotus USA came in on Nov 21. Dealer stated the car should be ready around the April/May time frame. No update when I checked in with the dealer mid January.

I emailed my dealer yesterday since it had been 6 weeks with no updates. Got my VIN, and the vehicle is in production.

I’m considering reaching out to my dealer also. Order accepted by lotus 11/18 so should be in production or getting there soon. Haven’t touched base with them since order locked/accepted.

Initial deposit was October 2023…. Finally got the call in November and build sheet submitted/accepted by Lotus 11/14/24. I was told at that time to expect a February build date and delivery 3 months later.

Nothing since then, so I emailed the dealer last week and the initial reply said car would be on the boat by the end of the week. I followed up asking for confirmation, VIN, etc, and got a reply that “Lotus has been ahead of schedule by about 2 months”, and it would be either this boat or the April/May delivery boat, and VIN would be sent once shipping date was confirmed.

The week passed with no further updates yet.

I placed a deposit in April last year, test drove one in October, and haven't really heard anything since. Judging by some of the other dates quoted here it seems like something may have gone wrong? Now that I've contacted them again I wonder if the order will magically resurface...

Some of it depends on the dealership. Different dealers are given different allotments, I’m assuming based at least partly on prior volume of sales?

I had a dealer locally, but after 3 in-person visits asking questions about deposits and ordering (this was still a few months before the first deliveries were starting), and every time I walked in it was the “first time they ever met me”, and also a couple of phone calls about the FE 2.0 (which they claimed not to have ever heard of). I finally did some research and looked up the highest volume dealer in the state.
One phone call, and the salesman told me everything they knew about the 2.0, the upcoming allotments, and that they did not know exactly when a car would be available, but they put my name on the list, periodically updated me if a car coming in was not going to be purchased by the ordering customer, and when my name came up, they called me that day.

Definitely better customer service than my local dealer.
