2024/2025 Emira Factory Order and Delivery Log

Some of it depends on the dealership. Different dealers are given different allotments, I’m assuming based at least partly on prior volume of sales?

I had a dealer locally, but after 3 in-person visits asking questions about deposits and ordering (this was still a few months before the first deliveries were starting), and every time I walked in it was the “first time they ever met me”, and also a couple of phone calls about the FE 2.0 (which they claimed not to have ever heard of). I finally did some research and looked up the highest volume dealer in the state.
One phone call, and the salesman told me everything they knew about the 2.0, the upcoming allotments, and that they did not know exactly when a car would be available, but they put my name on the list, periodically updated me if a car coming in was not going to be purchased by the ordering customer, and when my name came up, they called me that day.

Definitely better customer service than my local dealer.
Interesting. This is in the Midwest USA so the volume thing is plausible. They had quoted me 18 months back in April, and I believe that in the Fall they had been quoting new deposits at 12 months so I'd still technically be in that window. It also wouldn't necessarily surprise me if some dealers play musical chairs with the allocations to serve the 'preferred customers'.

My base manual V6 order was submitted Sept 30, just a few days after base pricing and options were released. Was told at the time to expect a Jan/Feb delivery. No word yet.
Got word from my dealer today that my car is built and on a ship! Expected at the dealer around the end of the month.

Nice. I have my VIN now but no word on boats. Any way to know what VINs have shipped aside from bugging my dealer?
@Nova is/was tracking shipments by VIN in an i4 delivery thread. I have my VIN and would be curious if it is on a boat, too (and if not, when it gets on one).

Did you ever submitted a build spec and receive a confirmation?

They just told me to do so yesterday, and I sent in my config today! It seems like either they or I dropped the ball, I was under the impression they would contact me when the time came. I should have been more vigilant about watching this forum! Nothing else I can do about it but wait and assuming the build is accepted it sounds like it's likely an August delivery. Talk about a rollercoaster of emotions.

I'm glad that they managed to get your config through after the Feb 18th cutoff. Make sure you get an confirmation. It should be in the form of a multi pages pdf file with a "Approved Customer Submission ID", Dealer and your info and deposit amount. then a list of your configs.
