2024/2025 Emira Factory Order and Delivery Log

Mine was my exact order with the exception of having the Sport chassis (I ordered the Tour chassis) the privacy glass (I opted to remove the privacy glass) and it also has the Vehicle Tracking (which I did not order). Other than that, it was identical, including the black badges I wanted (which I don't see on many Emiras being ordered/purchased).

Much to my good fortune, while attending the International Auto Show in New York City, the Manhattan Lotus dealer had an Emira V6 Manual with almost the exact spec as my order placed at the end of February. Osmium Silver with Red interior. So, as you can imagine it did not take me long to cancel my order (with another dealer) and purchase the one in Manhattan. No discussion of tariffs or any market increases, strictly sticker. Picking the car up on Tuesday...

I have the exact same spec except mine is an i4. Love the color combo.

There's not so many Emiras with the plain silver wheels. I think they really suit the Osmium Silver - it looks fantastic.

Silver not as good as yellow of course....
Haha thanks yea it doesn’t look bad at all. My initial reasoning was it would be too much silver but the yellow calipers help.

I think silver wheels look good with Osmium but they clash a bit on Nimbus.

Ok, mine already had a VIN and status "locked" but no one has ever explained what that means....

If your VIN is not of one of the boats that arrived before Lotus halted production. then you won't see it till the dust settles if ever. of those that made it to the US port. If they landed by 3/31, you should have gotten it or an least been notified that they are enroute to the dealer.

Thank you Wiz, I agree, and concluded the same, and bought one of the VINS that made it on the last boat on 3-30 from a different dealer than my original order.....Now I'm told my deposits won't be refunded if my original shows up with original price at some point in the future. However my original dealer has stated that I won't be obligated if Lotus can't deliver according to the original pricing I agreed on....so then I assume my deposit is returned at some point....Since I was tired of the wait, and uncertainty, and total lack of info, I took a leap and found a nice 2025 nearly exactly the way I wanted it....I decided I'd rather wait for my refund than wait for a car under the current totally unknown conditions...as I too believe that none of this will be sorted out anytime soon...if ever...Finally, I'd like to sincerely thank the person in this group that showed the VINS received on the boats and the dates, as there was no information about any of this from Lotus or my dealer, and this helped me decide that mine, even if built and ready to ship, would be a long wait, and most likely have a 2025 price and tariff increase With a short driving summer here in SD I decided if I ever am going to see a car and drive it, now was the time...IT looks to me like the last boat 2025's are still hitting the dealers now.....good chance to get one as I did...My original VIN about 25 above last one on the last boat.. The one I found already here had only been here 2 days at the dealer when I found it, and I snapped it up, and since the dealer has said it had another buyer immediately after I claimed it. Thanks again Wiz...I'm a believer if you want to enjoy one, you should give up your exact spec and find one while you can....I only had to give in to different black pack and caliper color, but I was able to get what I really wanted vivid red with tan and V6 and Manual....

One addition to above: I wanted a 2025, that then might have some of the bugs worked out in from a new production run in 2025 with the V6......Also a believer that due to all of these delivery and tariff problems, that my 2025 may actually be a highly desirable car in the future..due to limited numbers...

Add to my post above.....Plus, the thought that the possible price increase to my originally ordered car may actually end up to be more than my potential deposit loss.........the luck of the draw got me that my original VIN didn't make it the last boat, not my original dealer or Lotus fault...but I'm hoping that Lotus might follow through at some point to make it all right as things happen should I lose my deposit with original dealer.

I ended up getting a used 2024 FE V6 MT, my dealer told me it’s likely the costs of the tariffs will be passed along to me and at that point I’m allowed to cancel and get a full refund of my deposit. Figured it was now or never. Didn’t get nearly the same spec as what I ordered, but oh well. Ended up with a hethel yellow, red calipers, and a black interior. Good enough for me. The yellow is growing on me. All I really care about is the powertrain anyway.

Haha, I wanted just the lower black pack, but now I think I like the full backpack better....so you never know, plus the yellow calipers are growing on me too...

Holy moly that’s exactly what I want!! Trade? 😂
That's funny, you know I'm trying to convince a few more out there to just get something you can now that's close, you may end up liking it more than your original order....
