I just picked up my i4 after the 2000 km check / oil change and it also got some software updates.

First thing I noticed was a much linear acceleration. Gear changes also seem more fluid. That part is nice, but I also feel a lot less the turbo kick in the back once it engages. It is still there, but it feels like less of a punch. I was really used to it and I find I miss it. Has anyone else felt this?

Reverse is also a bit better. Never had a real issue with it, although it sometimes missed the shift if I was not pressing the break pedal hard enough. Now it seems to be working normally.

Yup the power curve is more linear with the update but the kick is gone, also power startup is gone as well

I have the V6 version and just got my car back a few days ago after having my break-in oil changed plus the software updates. I can definitely feel the same changes. If I need a burst of acceleration, I can still get it, but it just takes slightly longer to kick in. Very subtle but noticeable.

Just took delivery on 2/11 and the dealer did say that they did a 2+ hours software update before I picked it up. I do have someone in the area that probably have not had the updates yet so I'll try to compare.
