Obs a few folk have had an email today so rather than loose it in those 5 pages heres my update...

Whilst a significant level of cost increase has been absorbed, with effect from 1 June 2023, the retail price will increase to £81,995 (incl VAT) for the Emira V6 First Edition, and £77,795 (incl VAT) for the Emira First Edition 4-cylinder turbocharged variant. Full pricing details can be found on our website. However, your Emira reservation will not be affected by this increase, we can confirm your reservation has been price protected.



We are fully committed to our production schedule and in the next two weeks, we will be in touch via email to update you further on the progression of your Lotus Emira.

i got the same email, so we should have some news in the next 2 week, and hopefully there will be insurance available on the normal insurance sites, nothing yet I just checked.

Feeling sad and happy all at the same time!
Hope Lotus get their skates on re V6 auto Type Approval otherwise the Emira will be an expensive driveway ornament.

The last 2 or 3 updates have been March build with Apr delivery, so getting the enhance & protect now seems to suggest I am still on track. Original deposit was 1st day of Goodwod 2021.

Well now i feel really short changed. May dipper and no email.

That’s fantastic news! But unfortunately it would probably take longer (hopefully not!), it’s been 4 weeks as of today and mine doesn’t have plates yet and he said it will take a few more days
I didn’t know registration could take that long haha

I received the same email earlier this week. The next email you will get from Lotus includes a range of Emira 'protect and enhance' products from insurance for alloys & tyres, to the upholstery and paintwork, a 3-year fixed price service package, extended warranty, GAP insurance and a range of finance options, with full details to review as they will be offered in the checkout process.
