I took this picture at dealership last night and sent it to Blendmount for them to make radar detector mount. They came back with additional question on the stem diameter
“””We haven't seen that mirror setup before. Would it be possible to get the mirror stem diameter?
If you have /have access to a pair of digital calipers, that would be the best way to get the 3 digit measurement we would need to know what mount would fit.”””

I am not near dealer to check this, can someone take measurement please

Thanks a bunch.

Blendmounts are great!
Hopefully someone can help out with the measurement.

I assume those buttons are the home link ?

Going to make it little hard to tuck the radar in close under it

That is a great point. May have to just play with the position of radar detector

I usually leave a fingers width gap between the mirror and detector to be able to hit the mute button (at least on the redline360 unit) Not needed on the Uniden though. Hopefully leaving a small gap for the homelink doesnt make it hang down too far!

This is what I got from Blendmount:

“””That would be our BMG-2024 mount:
https://blendmount.com/aluminum-rad...2024-compatible-with-ez-mag-mount-custom-fit/

*In case you didn't know, you'll have to unscrew the magnet from the suction cup mount that your Escort came with, then screw the magnet onto our mount.
(The magnet is Escort's product and they don't allow us to supply or sell them).

If you wanted our Mirror Tap, it would be MTX-1015:
https://blendmount.com/power-cord-m...1-2-amp-inline-fuse-with-military-grade-taps/

Or if you wanted to tap to the fuse box, it would be our HT-1096:

💪🏼 happy to help. Thanks for doing the leg work and thanks to @forest for taking the time to measure the stem!

My mount arrived ,unfortunately I don't see this working with a radar, the mount does not have enough forward throw to clear the home link buttons on the bottom of the mirror.

Also don't think it will provide access to the buttons on top of the radar.

I just placed an order for the Blendmount last night unfortunately. I've reached out to Colin with the picture of the rearview mirror and also your picture to see what he suggests. Maybe there is an easy modification to the mount to extend it further downward?
